Students who love sport and enjoy being involved in community activities will enjoy these placements, which are ideally suited to Sport and Recreation students.

Skills You Might Learn

Students may further build skills in customer service, personal organisation, critical thinking, facilitating groups, planning for events and following health and safety procedures.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Tasks will include setting up for sporting events, managing equipment, customer service, cleaning, observing umpires and assisting with administration activities. There may be the potential for interested and motivated students to gain exposure to umpiring.

Student Requirements

Must be passionate about sports and show enthusiasm.

Dress Requirements

Sports gear; neat, tidy presentation.

Special Transport Requirements

This location is best reached by bus or car.
