This is a terrific opportunity for a student who is community minded and eager to find out more about the Community Sector. The Mooroopna Hub offers multiple community programs, from occasional care, exercise programs, art programs and community meals. With this placement you will be immersed in the community and meet many other community minded people.

Typical Tasks & Duties
Typical tasks will be very varied due to the variety of activities on offer in a community hub, they will include but not limited to; setting up of exercise equipment including, mats, music and props required for each health session, being involved in setting up for the community lunches, general admin supports, greeting clients through the building and answering the telephone.
Student Requirements
The student must be community minded and willing to adapt to the many facets and tasks involved with working in a community hub. They should present well and be comfortable and respectful around staff and visitors, especially people with diverse backgrounds and needs.
