Skills You Might Learn

You will have the opportunity to improve skills that you have been learning in your Screen & Media or Information, Digital Media & Technology certificate. You will be learning about camera equipment, filming, editing and set up/pack down of equipment.

Typical Tasks & Duties

During placement, you may have an opportunity to join an experienced staff member filming seminars, conferences, concerts and musicals. In addition to this you will be learning about equipment used, set up and pack up, and post production work. The student will be provided with their own camera to improve on their filming and editing skills under the guidance of an industry professional.

Student Requirements

Audio Visual Solutions are looking for a student who will demonstrate professionalism, punctuality and pay great attention to detail. You will be required to practice safe work standards including self awareness and care when handling equipment and always follow instructions from a supervising staff member. Students will receive an induction on the first day and must comply to all workplace OH&S policies and procedures

Dress Requirements

You will be required to wear neat/casual clothing and present yourself in a tidy professional manner.

Special Transport Requirements

Students are required to make their own way to and from the workplace. There are buses along East Boundary Road and Center Road.
