Skills You Might Learn
Students will have the chance to develop skills and understanding in:
Various maintenance practices used on a progressive golf course
The safe operation of basic hand and power tools.
Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
The safe operating side by side utility vehicles.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will gain a variety of experiences to the Golf Industry. These include; Assist with landscape construction work.
Operate side by side utility vehicles.
How to work effectively in the industry.
Use manual and power tools.
Operate basic machinery and equipment.
Some manual labour will be also required.
The use of chemicals will not be required.
Student Requirements
You are required to supply your own blue work pants/shorts and steel capped work boots. The Employer can supply you with all remaining uniform and safety requirements.
Dress Requirements
You are required to supply your steel capped work boots.
The Employer can supply you with secondary uniform if required. Rain coasts and wet weather equipment will also be supplied.
