Eaglemont Dish
Eaglemont Dish is a friendly local cafe serving breakfast, lunch and coffee, including a delicious selection of freshly prepared sandwiches and cakes. Students on placement will have the opportunity to learn basic food preparation and cooking skills, food handling and hygiene, and some front of house services.

Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will begin with basic tasks including; care and use of kitchen equipment, safe food handling and storage, and basic knife skills including different cuts. Tasks will include unpacking and rotating stock, cleaning out fridge, cleaning work areas, sandwich preparation, food preparation, food safety and occupational health and safety.
Student Requirements
This placement is for students studying the relevant certificate in Hospitality, Kitchen Operations, or Cookery.
Dress Requirements
Students should wear sturdy closed toe shoes suitable for a kitchen environment.
Students should wear plain black long pants and shirt (long or short sleeve).
Special Transport Requirements
Travel form will not be required as all placement hours will be onsite.
Placement is close to train access.
