Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will be responsible for the following tasks;

- Assisting Northern Grampians Shire Council trained staff with related administrative, marketing and communications activities
- Engaging with customers related to marketing and communications activities as advised by Northern Grampians Shire Council trained staff
- Completing all related tasks as assigned by Northern Grampians Shire Council trained staff

Student Requirements

The following requirements must be met;

- Students are required to have a keen interest in media, marketing and communications
- Students must be able to spend extended periods on their feet
- Students must have a willingness to learn and be able to follow instructions
- Students must be willing to communicate clearly and work with a team
- Students must be completing a related subject or have displayed an interest in the area

Dress Requirements

Students undertaking a Marketing and Communications placement with Northern Grampians Shire Council will be required to wear neat casual clothing as appropriate for an office space.

Special Transport Requirements

The student will be required to arrange their own transport; if transport is presenting a problem please contact CGLLEN to discuss available options and support that can be provided.
