Typical Tasks & Duties
A student who is successful in securing a position with Worner Building and Construction will have the opportunity to work on a variety of builds with highly professional and skilled builders. Jobs may include digging foundations, framing and working alongside all the trades to complete the build. There will also be general labouring tasks involved.
Student Requirements
Students are required to be studying a certificate in Building and Construction or related. It is important to the business that students are respectful, punctual and can show initiative to ask questions or start on other tasks. Phones should only be used during breaks and be a non smoker. You must have obtained your white card and can present it to the Employer.
Dress Requirements
Students are required to wear steel capped boots and comfortable work clothes. Students can bring their own nail belt if they have one.
Special Transport Requirements
Students are required to make their own way to and from the location in Chelsea Heights. Students will then get a lift with the employer to the worksites.
