### Gardening assistant - unique work placement opportunity
Do you have a genuine interest in plants, gardening and horticulture? With more than 4,000 species of cacti and succulents from around the world, presented throughout 10 acres of spectacular garden trails (eight in total). The role would incorporate nursery work, hospitality, landscaping and general outside work such as watering plants. You would get to work with an incredible team where they will get to work with a range of people on different projects depending on what's happening at the time. Ideally someone who's hands on would really get the best out of this.

During your placement, you will gain a vast range of skills including:

Typical Tasks & Duties

Typical duties include:
- planting
- watering of plants
- moving and re-stocking of plants and other products
- maintenance of gardens
- landscaping
- face to face customer service and inquiries.
There is also the opportunity to learn about the unique cacti plant species and their characteristics and requirements.

Student Requirements

Students should have a keen interest in the horticulture industry, enjoy a hands on experience and working outdoors and a willingness to learn.

Dress Requirements

Students should be dressed appropriately for duties in the surrounding gardens and grounds. PPE appropriate, work boots, broad brimmed hat.

Special Transport Requirements

VLINE - Cobram or Yarrawonga. The business is located along the Murray Valley Hwy, approx. 15 km west of Cobram. Refer to VLINE for further details and information.
