This is a fantastic local opportunity for someone who is interested in the construction Industry and keen to learn from a long standing local employer. You will observe and have opportunity to build capability in the following areas;
woodcutting and measurements; electrical and other appliances/tools at work in the Hardware store; lifting and loading correctly; learn about general hardware materials including nails, nuts, bolts, screws and locks. If this sounds like something you would like to try then let's hear from you.

Typical Tasks & Duties

You will have the opportunity to learn about;
general hardware materials including nails, bolts, screws and locks. Observe employees providing advice to customers; observe and learn what questions to ask of customers when they have a painting job - according to customer requirements; merchandise stock; liaise with team members to distribute stock; housekeeping - including cleaning, putting away materials, stacking and in stacking goods.

Student Requirements

Students must have solid steel capped work boots, and be able to participate on a Monday for work placement.

Dress Requirements

Must wear neat casual clothing suitable for worksite. Work shirt and trousers.
Steel capped boots are a MUST

Public transport is available, buses in Mooroopna
