This professional and local business will give the student a chance for a hands on placement in a workshop that specialist in Custom tray bodies, Hayman Reese tow bars,Bull bars,Trailers,Tool boxes, Aluminium sales, 3 inch Roll bars, Guillotining & folding.

Typical Tasks & Duties

This position will provide students with the opportunity to develop a broad base of skills necessary in manufacturing 4WD accessories. The student's task will include keeping the workshop clean and tidy, helping staff with tools and equipment, and making sure all equipment is stored correctly. The student will apply safe working practices and observe OH&S procedures in the workplace.

Student Requirements

Whilst the students are attending a work placement they are expected to:
Dress appropriately
Maintain interest and participate in work duties
Be well mannered and behave in a respectful and responsible manner
Be punctual
Follow management instructions
Act in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements
Work within the team
Listen and take advice from fellow workers
Participate in business activities as required
Respect other people’s belongings
Keep a note pad and pen handy to take notes for their own reference
Demonstrate the skills they have developed through their course
Take their Log Book to the work placement every day.

Dress Requirements

Work boots.
Clean workshop attire or overalls supplied by Host if required.

Special Transport Requirements

Public transport is limited. Students are advised to make their own transport arrangement.
