Lightmare Studios is looking for enthusiastic students to undertake its Interactive Entertainment and 3D Animation opportunities through a School Based Apprenticeship or Traineeship. This consists of two components;
Firstly, the Educational.
Students will study with Lightmare's partnered RTO Holmesglen through one of their intakes, which currently consist of Glen Waverley, St. Kilda Road, and Moorabbin, as well as the remote & digital options for when attending physically isn't suitable. Over the course of 6 months, for one day per week, students will undertake a Certificate III in Information, Digital Media & Technology.
Secondly, the Employment.
Students will also receive 7 hours of paid work per week for 6 months as a trainee, attending Lightmare's Virtual Workshifts and carrying out tasks while furthering their education and learning. This paid employment can be done over two days or three, depending on your availability.
Those with Unique learning styles are also encouraged to apply, including but not limited to students on the Spectrum.
Skills You Might Learn
Gaming, coding, digital animation and digital art.
Marketing & Social Media Training & Optional Workload : Trainees will be trained in industry best practice for promoting products, creating authentic content and interacting with Lightmare players on Facebook, Instagram and Discord.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Produce Their Own Personal Game Project : Trainees design their own idle casual game concept and create it. There is the potential of publication through Lightmare for the best projects.
Quality Assurance Training & Workload : All trainees will have structured testing schedules around patches for Infinity Heroes and other major projects.
Student Requirements
An interest in completing a School Based Apprenticeship. (SBAT)
Earn while you Learn.
A minimum of 2 full days (or 4 half days) must be physically attended on-site at the RTO (Holmesglen) throughout the course.
Remote work once WH&S approved from home.
