Cover letter required. No placements until term 3.

Hello Music are a music education, production, and events business who are happy to host students studying a certificate in Business at their music studio. The $5 p/day payment will be done as one lump sum at the end of the placement, through a bank transfer.

Placements are available on Thursdays and Fridays and are for 5 days at a time, with an option to extend if both parties agree.
For 1 day per week Placements - placements should only be for a maximum of 5 weeks. A student can seek another 5 weeks (20 weeks maximum, as per guidelines) should both the student and employer agree after the commencement of the first placement.

This placement could align with your Certificate III in Screen & Media via the following Units of Competency:
CUAIND311 Work effectively in the creative arts industry
BSBCRT311 Apply critical thinking skills in a team environment
CUADES201 Follow a design process

Students completing a placement here have the potential to gain: Film editing skills, developed knowledge of productioon equipment and setup for a live event, pre and post production, Live film set up.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students completing a placement here can expect to: Work with a live production team, carry out basic film editing, pre and post production of, use professional film equipment and recording, assist professionals within the industry, assist with running the event, Carry out basic sound editing, pre and post production, use professional audio equipment, assist with running the event, work with professional musicians and staff, assist with social media, carry out marketing, assist with customers and their enquiries, deal with incoming emails and mail, carry out general office admin requirements

Student Requirements

Students should have an interest in the Music industry. They should also be enthusiastic and willing to learn, punctual, neat presentation, and have a polite manner.
Students 18 and over are required to have a valid Working with Children Check.

Dress Requirements

Students should dress smart casual, neat and tidy. No hoodies, ripped jeans etc.

Special Transport Requirements

Public transport available, studio is 50m from Prahran station
