Skills You Might Learn

Students will learn how to multi-task, problem-solve, interact with people including customers and team members. Handling monies and customer service. Working as an all-rounder in the Cafe. How to work within a fast paced kitchen while serving customers. Menu planning and ordering of all stock.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Customer service, clearing tables, and preparation of meals
General maintenance in the cafe with housekeeping tasks
Re-stocking food and beverage areas
Training in all cafe areas
Keeping an eye for detail and food preparation and tidiness
Table service and clearing skills to be learnt

Student Requirements

On the job training will be provided

Dress Requirements

Students will need to wear clean and tidy dark clothes with closed shoes

Special Transport Requirements

Bus or to be organised with the students parents or school
