Start date is available for Term 1 or Term 2 in 2022.

Skills You Might Learn

Teamwork, communication, problem solving, time management etc., gain experience with all pre-school age groups. Improve industry awareness, including cultural diversity and inclusion.
Develop positive and respectful relationships with children, assist with health and safety of children, interact positively with infants, toddlers and parents, participate in workplace health and safety, promote healthy food and drinks, etc.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Assist staff to set up and pack up activities for education and play, learn about hygiene, feeding and rest requirements, observe behaviour patterns in children at various ages and stages in their development.

Student Requirements

Student must be undertaking Cert III Early Childhood Education and Care in 2022 and have a friendly, self-motivated and teamwork attitude.

*** COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS***
Goodstart Management have advised the BNLLEN that it is mandatory for all staff to be triple vaccinated. Note this will also apply to any interested SWL students.

Dress Requirements

Clothes must be suitable for indoor and outdoor play (compliant with SunSmart policy), which may require bending, moving play equipment or painting. For safety reasons wear discreet jewellery (eg. no dangly earrings). Long hair must be tied back and closed toe shoes must be worn. To be discussed in more detail at interview.
