An opportunity to gain experience working with and servicing farm machinery at TTMI. This is a locally owned and operated farm machinery dealership who offer servicing and repairs, and have an opportunity for a student to undertake placement in a workshop position.

Skills You Might Learn

Students will have the opportunity to attain a broad range of skills while on work placement. These may include valuable general employability skills and vital industry specific skills relevant to working with farm machinery.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Observe and assist in the general day to day of the workshop, including learning how to assess and service machinery, maintaining a clean & safe working environment, general repairs and other duties as directed.

Student Requirements

Students must be punctual, willing to learn and follow directions.
This placement would effectively be a trial for a future pathway with TTMI

Dress Requirements

To be discussed with work placement provider - students must wear appropriate safety gear.

Special Transport Requirements

Students are required to provide their own transport to and from workshop.
