This is a great opportunity for a student to gain experience and develop practical skills working along side the administration team at Gisborne Medical Centre. Gisborne Medical Centre has previously taken on students in both work placements and school-based traineeships and provides a supportive learning environment exposing students to a wide variety of tasks.
It is important to bring a can-do attitude, have an interest in business administration and show attention to detail. In return, this business will provide a variety of tasks and take a real interest in your training.

Skills You Might Learn

Experience in general office procedures. Confidence in dealing professionally with colleagues and customers and working as part of a team. Develop skills in various computer programs. Exposure to a broad range of medical services.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Perform under supervision a range of general administrative tasks in a busy office environment. Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Reception duties
- Data entry
- File management
- Customer service
- Accounts

Student Requirements

Students should have an interest in business services, be enthusiastic and have a willingness to learn. Students can register their interest in a placement via the Central Ranges LLEN lena@centralrangesllen.org.au. Requests for placement should include your resume, preferred placement dates and identify any relevant VET courses that you are undertaking.

Dress Requirements

Students will be required to be well groomed and wear business attire (no denim)
