A large and popular Retail outlet based in Ringwood, offering a range of clothing, homewares, home entertainment and cosmetic products, is offering exciting SWL placement opportunities. These will be ideally suited to students who are interested in Retail and who are passionate about gaining real experience in customer service.

Skills You Might Learn

As part of this placement students are likely to expand on their understanding of merchandising, customer service skills, point of sale, teamwork, safety practices in Retail and communication skills.

Typical Tasks & Duties

During this SWL placement students will be involved in customer service, observing EFTPOS transactions, stock replenishment, visual merchandising, unpacking and storage. Students can expect to gain exposure working in a range of departments.

Student Requirements

Students will be required to participate in a meet and greet with Store Management and will need to complete a safety induction online before working in store. We are looking for someone who is outgoing and shows a willingness to learn. Punctuality is important. See Dress Requirements for further information.

Dress Requirements

Students will be required to dress in professional block black and white attire and must wear closed toe and heel shoes. Black trousers and a white shirt is ideal.

Special Transport Requirements

This location is close to Ringwood train station, and can also be reached by bus or car.
