A great opportunity exists to complete a Structured Workplace Learning placement in this residential aged care facility in Boronia. This facility is serviced by a network of allied health professionals including physiotherapists, audiologists, dentistry and speech therapists.
Skills You Might Learn
Students will extend their knowledge of the health industry, gain a greater understanding of the various roles and professions within an aged care facility, learn about Occupational Health and Safety protocols and apply their training in a practical setting.
Typical Tasks & Duties
During this placement students will: accompany and observe health professionals (including a full-time physiotherapist); work with Aged Care residents; take part in lifestyle activities; assist with meals and delivering food trays.

A Police Check is required (Working in Aged Care)
Conservative, neat dress, no piercings.
Special Transport Requirements
