North Shepparton Community and Learning Centre (NSCLC) welcomes people from all walks of life. With the help of local volunteers and community members, this community hub brings people together to connect, learn and contribute through social, educational and recreational activities. We are proud to offer this work placement opportunity to students who are community-minded, have a keen eye for detail, and who would like to help people in their community connect and learn in a purposeful way.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Typical duties will involve helping staff and volunteers with everyday tasks, such as; greeting visitors to the centre, setting up rooms for meetings or activities, created flyers, general admin duties including answering telephones, data entry, and photocopying.

Student Requirements

To consume this opportunity, you can be studying VCAL, VETiS or I&E. You should have good computer skills, be confident speaking to people and accepting of the diverse range of clients that entre the centre.

Dress Requirements

Neat casual dress is required.
