Pets Indulgence

Pets Indulgence are located in Prahran and offer Dog Washing and Grooming services. They are happy to host students studying a certificate in Animal Studies.

Placements are available throughout school year as week blocks and are 5 days long with potential to extend if both parties agree.

Students completing a placement here have the potential to gain the following skills: communication, teamwork, customer service, dog handling and grooming.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students completing a placement here can expect to work as part of the Pets Indulgence team, working directly with client’s dogs by handling, cleaning, washing and grooming them. Students will also have some customer interaction.

Student Requirements

Students should have an interest in working with animals. They should also be enthusiastic and willing to learn, punctual, neat appropriate presentation, and have a polite manner.

Dress Requirements

Students should wear neat and tidy casual clothing that they are happy to get dirty
