Students will also have the opportunity to improve their industry specific knowledge.

Typical Tasks & Duties

During placement, students will have the opportunity to observe and assist with a variety of roles / duties in Business and Health Administration.
Duties may include answering calls, data entry, document management (including confidentiality), setting up and packing up meeting spaces, printing, laminating, filing, shredding, preparing meeting materials or reports, and other duties as directed by the supervisor. The opportunity will exist to observe a range of duties specific to the business side of the Healthcare industry.

Student Requirements

This placement is suitable for VET / VCAL students studying Certificate in Business or Certificate in Health Administration.

Dress Requirements

Presentation is smart casual, suitable for working in an office environment and meeting with external clients. Business suit is not required, but professional, neat and clean clothes are essential (eg. skirt or pants, and blouse or shirt.)
No ripped / torn clothing. No branded clothing.

Special Transport Requirements

Employer is close to train and bus services. Travel Form not required as student will not be travelling between sites during placement.
