Typical Tasks & Duties
Identify automotive mechanical systems and components.
Assist with automotive workplace activities at the discretion of the supervisor.
Follow safe working practices in an automotive workplace.
Follow environmental & sustainability best practice in an automotive place.
Under instruction, inspect, test and service batteries.
Think quickly, have attention to detail, stay focused and listen carefully whilst in the workshop.
Assist with cleaning the workshop floor, keeping it organised and safe at all times. Cleaning and maintaining tools/equipment when required.
Must be punctual, organised and attentative.
Be prepared with a note book and pen.
Must be focused and alert.
Student can take along own tools if they have their own.
Must inform the employer if you are not attending by phone.
Clean, neat and Ironed shirt or polo top (plain).
Black pants and safety shoes.
