Come and join a busy windscreen replacement and repair workshop located in Sale. This position would suit someone interested in automotive repairs, as replacing windscreens will form a large part of your placement.
Skills You Might Learn
You will learn correct techniques for maintaining and using various hand tools. You will learn and demonstrate strong communication skills, and learn other highly regarded employability skills, such as following direction and showing initiative, whilst maintaining safe work practices.
Typical Tasks & Duties
You will be involved in preparing vehicles for repair, utilising the specialised skills you have learned as part of your course. You will be able to observe and assist qualified, industry trained workers with their day to day tasks.
Student Requirements
You must have successfully completed the Occupational Health and Safety components of your course prior to being eligible for this placement.
Dress Requirements
Neat workshop ready attire - work boots, long pants, and no loose clothing or jewelry.
Special Transport Requirements
You will need to arrange your own transport to and from work.
