Skills You Might Learn
The skills attained in this placement will range from operating electrical test equipment, recharging batteries, remove and replace wheels and tyre assemblies, construct basic electronic circuits depending on the needs of the workshop.
Typical Tasks & Duties
The student's task will include keeping the workshop clean and tidy, helping staff with tools and equipment, and making sure all equipment is stored correctly. The student will apply safe working practices and observe OH&S procedures in the workplace.
Student Requirements
The student is required to have basis understanding of the work of an auto mechanic and the workshop.
Dress Requirements
Trade appropriate work wear and PPE gear
Special Transport Requirements
Student will need to arrange his or her own transportation.
