Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will have the opportunity to assist tradespeople who will be involved in various stages of metal fabrication and welding, which will include reading plans and drawing, preparing steel, cutting, welding, grinding and painting. Students will also assist in cleaning the workshop, unloading products, stacking steel and general duties as required.
Student Requirements
Student to have a strong interest in engineering and manufacturing.
Dress Requirements
Student to wear work pants and long sleeved shirt with safety boots.
Special Transport Requirements
Public Transport available.
