Skills You Might Learn

Typical Tasks & Duties
The student will assist the staff with a broad range of tasks such as applying basic fabrication techniques, use of hand tools and handling of fabrication materials. Other tasks will include assisting in workshop clean up and maintaining a safe working environment.
You need a genuine interest in the trade and have a strong willingness to work in this area. Interested student needs to be punctual, hardworking, able to listen and take direction, be capable of showing initiative and able get along with people.
The student will be required to wear work boots and a t-shirt. This is an ideal opportunity for a student who can follow instructions, is a good listener, reliable and punctual.
