Hello Music

Hello Music are a music education, production, and events business who are happy to host students studying a certificate in Screen and Media as part of a film production team at their music studio and music events.

Placements are available at certain times of year when events are on. Each placement is for 5 days at a time, with an option to extend if both parties agree.

There is opportunity to work on pre and post production of the event to make up a placement. Please note that depending on what is available at the time, the whole placement may not be dedicated to editing and production work, and other more general duties may be required.

The $5 p/day payment will be done as one lump sum at the end of the placement, through a bank transfer. Student to provide bank details at meet and greet.

Skills You Might Learn

Students completing a placement here have the potential to gain: Film editing skills, developed knowledge of productioon equipment and setup for a live event, pre and post production, Live film set up.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students completing a placement here can expect to: Work with a live production team, carry out basic film editing, pre and post production of, use professional film equipment and recording, assist professionals within the industry, assist with running the event.

Student Requirements

A working with Children Check is NOT required for students under the age of 18. If you are over the age of 18 this IS required and can be obtained for free via:

Students should have an interest in the Music industry. They should also be enthusiastic and willing to learn, punctual, neat presentation, and have a polite manner

Dress Requirements

Students should dress smart casual, neat and tidy. No hoodies, ripped jeans etc.

Special Transport Requirements

Public transport available, studio is 50m from Prahran station
