Heritage Care - Epping Gardens
Heritage Care - Epping Gardens community-focused aged care home accommodates over 100 residents. They are happy to host students studying interested in Allied Health, Aged Care, or Community Services.
Placements are available across the school year and are 5 days long with potential to extend if both parties agree.

Skills You Might Learn
Students completing a placement here have the potential to gain the following skills: Program delivery, physiotherapy, infection control, communication skills, teamwork, problem solving, self-management, planning and organisation skills
Typical Tasks & Duties
Students completing a placement here can expect to: Provide companionship and assist with socialisation of residents, participate in planning and delivery of multiple programs, assist with resident outings, shadow in house Physiotherapist, take part in supervision and direction of exercise programs for residents.
Student Requirements
Students should be enthusiastic, patient, show empathy and compassion and have the ability to liaise with all age groups. Students with a music or art related background are strongly encouraged to apply.
Dress Requirements
Collared shirt, black pants and closed toe non slip shoes
