Skills You Might Learn
Skills relating to stock replenishment, merchandising and customer service whilst gaining product knowledge and trade contacts will be gained. Bunnings also aim to assist students with obtaining the skills necessary for their VET certificate should they be in the position to.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will be involved in stock replenishment, merchandising and customer service. Students will also have the opportunity to interact with members of the public and tradespersons. This will build their confidence and communication skills and also lead to familiarity with those operating in their desired industry.
Student Requirements
Students must have a positive attitude, be reliable, show initiative and enjoy challenges. They need to be able to get along well with people and be willing to work within a team. The student must appreciate the opportunity they are being provided and represent the store well during work placement.
Dress Requirements
Safety boots (steel capped), Jeans or shorts (dark colours), No board shorts or light colours. Bunnings will provide polo shirt, apron and name tag.

Directly accessible by Bus and Train.
