This is a great opportunity for a student that was interested in sustainable farming to work with a farmer who is an agronomist. Imprint Farms is a sustainable farming venture that specialises in bees and bee related equipment, if also conducts on farm workshops directly to the public. Imprint grows its own products for sale and use within its workshops

Skills You Might Learn

The student would gain knowledge of the following

- Knowledge of farming practices and processes with a keen eye on sustainable
- Knowledge of how to deal with Bees
- Knowledge of food production

Typical Tasks & Duties

The student would work with the farmer on a variety of farming duties, including but not limited to

- Working with Bees
- Attending to the production of food
- Animal husbandry
- Pasture improvement
- Fencing
- General farming requirements

Student Requirements

The student must have to ability to listen and learning from an experienced farmer, must also be able to work as part of a team and independently when required.

Must not be allergic to bees

Dress Requirements

Enclose shoes and clothing that will get dirty

Special Transport Requirements

Must be able to attend farm in Heathmere
