Skills You Might Learn

You will learn food hygiene procedures, kitchen workflow and the requirements of being part of a kitchen team. You will learn the preparation and cooking of vegetable and meat dishes, ordering and storing of ingredients and a variety of cooking techniques.

Typical Tasks & Duties

A student undertaking this placement will be working at the level of a first year apprentice. Your typical duties will include the preparation of ingredients, assisting professionals in the daily tasks to prepare for the evening service. You will have the opportunity to be part of a top flight restaurant at the top of their game

Student Requirements

Dress Requirements

Clean clothes, a white tshirt, comfortable pants and shoes.
