Temptation Living & Landscapes have an exciting opportunity for a student to undertake a Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) Placement as a Gardening Assistant. This position is ideally suited to students with a genuine interest in horticulture who enjoy being active and working outdoors. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain a vast range of experience across the horticulture industry.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Successful applicants will participate in a number of tasks as directed by the relevant supervisor. Your tasks and duties may include, but not be limited to:
Gardening and maintenance
Plant production
Propagation
Garden establishment
Retail display

Student Requirements

It is crucial that students demonstrate a keen interest in gardening, plants and horticulture. The student will be willing to learn new skills and take pride in tasks undertaken. The employer values good communication skills, teamwork, punctuality and initiative.

Dress Requirements

Students must wear gardening attire. A wide brimmed hat and sunscreen is recommended.

Special Transport Requirements

Student to make own transport arrangements
