Vortex bricklaying works on specialist jobs in and around melbourne and victoria and mainly works on extensions, restorations and renovations. Vortex looks forward to training a keen student with a genuine interest in the industry. All jobs are on site; locations will vary, and as such you will need to access Melbourne's public transport network or arrange a drop-off.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Working alongside Russell you will be responsible for mixing mortar and using the wheelbarrow to transport mortar. You may also be required to assist with specialist work as necessary for individual jobs. Duties will depend on the type of work at the time of placement.

Student Requirements

Russell is seeking a robust and fit student who is able to take direction and ask questions when in doubt. Please do not use your phone whilst on the job.

Dress Requirements

Work clothes. Steel capped boots. Thick work gloves.
