Michael Piastrino is the owner and proud winner of the 2017 Victorian Hairdresser of the Year Award, winning both the 2016 and 2017 awards for Colour Technician & Colour Specialist of the Year. Ibiza Hair are happy to host work experience students who are interested in a hairdressing career.

Skills You Might Learn

Communication skills, teamwork, customer service, product knowledge, blow drying, exposure to hairdressing booking systems and washing hair.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Shampoo hair, keeping salon clean and tidy, making tea/coffee for customers, general housekeeping, greeting customers, preparing equipment for qualified hairdressers and assisting other staff members as required.

Student Requirements

Students undertaking a placement with Ibiza Hair should be interested in a hairdressing career, have creative flair, be open to learning, and be passionate, energetic, polite and well presented.

Dress Requirements

Closed toe shoes, neat presentation. Rest to be discussed at meet and greet

Special Transport Requirements

Close to public transport.
