Kimmba Bilingual Early Learning Centre is the first long day care service in Australia that offers 4 languages spontenously to children daily. It’s multilingual program aims at the acceptance of families and children who come from different nationalities and backgrounds and who speak different languages because they believe that a society that accepts its peoples’ colours, races, languages, and even religions, is a successful, well-functioning society and one in which we would like our children to live and grow.

They are happy to host students interested in a career in early childcare. This placement could align with your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care through the below units of competency:
CHCECE002 Ensure the health and safety of children
CHCECE011 Provide experiences to support children’s play and learning
CHCECE006 Support behaviour of children and young people

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students completing a placement here can expect to:

- carry out day to day care of children
- meal times
- educational play
- exercise, painting
- helping maintain a clean and safe workplace
- sleep routine and bottle feeding

Student Requirements

An interest in the working with children and the ability to interact with them. They should also be enthusiastic and willing to learn, punctual, neat presentation, and have a polite manner.

If over 18 years of age, a Working with Children's Check is required.

Dress Requirements

Neat/casual dress, closed toe flat shoes

Special Transport Requirements

Public transport available
