Skills You Might Learn

Assist as required with the general upkeep of workstations including some cleaning. Undertake basic repairs tasks (under supervision) tyre changing, some heavy lifting involved, using basic hand tools and basic power tools.

Typical Tasks & Duties

- Apply safe work practices in a busy workshop
- Use and maintain workplace tools and equipment
- Participate in all car servicing processes
- Support and assist the mechanics in all areas of car management in the workshop.

Student Requirements

Students are expected to be punctual and ready to learn.

Boots and work clothes

Special Transport Requirements

The workshop is close to the trains and trams.
