Skills You Might Learn

Work safely in the automotive industry, participate in basic vehicle servicing operations, and use and maintain tools and equipment. You will be given opportunities to use power tools relevant to the task, change tyres, do oil changes, and a range of mechanical and automotive tasks. You will assist in keeping a clean workshop and be part of the problem-solving and diagnostic inquiry that is essential to servicing and maintaining vehicles.

Typical Tasks & Duties

The group is offering an opportunity for a keen student to undertake mechanical services and repairs in their state-of-the-art automotive workshop. This is a friendly work environment where the host and team are very keen to assist the student to learn and practice a wide range of skills. This is a great opportunity to work in an automotive business and be involved in a large range of jobs and tasks.

Student Requirements

Students must have a keen interest in the Automotive Industry, prepared to learn and value this opportunity. Appropriate work clothes must be worn and it is important to be punctual and respect the work environment. If you are willing to learn you will be given a lot of opportunities to gain practical and hands-on skills.

Dress Requirements


Work pants, work shirt and steel-capped boots.
