LoewCon Developments Pty Ltd specialises in high end custom homes, domestic homes and renovations. Leowcon's two young leaders are experienced in a wide range of carpentry services, including framing, lock up, fix, decking, pergolas, and more, and will guide you through the entire process while you are there. They provide services throughout Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula, and Gippsland.

Skills You Might Learn
Students may have the chance to develop skills/understanding in:
-Identify and handle carpentry tools and equipment
-Construct basic wall frames
-Carry out basic construction processes
- knowledge of workplace safety procedures
- client services
- Effective workplace communication
-Apply basic levelling procedures etc..
Typical Tasks & Duties
This position will include activities around assisting the builders in their work and may include using of carpentry tools and equipment, apply basic levelling procedures, cut and join timber framing, site set up (fencing, locating power etc..) and clean up. This will be as part of team using effective communication, including checking with the employer if you need to clarify any instructions.
Student Requirements
You must have some experience, a real interest in the trade, and a strong desire to work in this field, maintain interest and participate in work duties. You are required to be punctual, well mannered and behave in a respectful and responsible manner. An OH&S safety “White Card” is required before commencing work within the team. Please check with employer regarding any COVID safe practices and immunisation requirements before starting placement.
Dress Requirements
You must provide your own work pants, steel-capped work boots, T-shirt, safety glasses, and gloves.
Special Transport Requirements
You must arrange your own transportation to and from the work placement. If necessary, pick-up from a nearby train station line can be arranged. Please discuss your travel plans with the employer before beginning your placement.
