Skills You Might Learn

Whilst on placement the student will learn skills aligned with their VET studies including;
• Refine your communication skills
• Learn coding, technology and industry standard software
• Team work and collaboration
• Develop your time management skills

Typical Tasks & Duties

Support students as they embark on their own STEAM journey
Explore realms like Drones, 3D Printing, Laser Cutting, Robotics, and more!
Work with our education team of experienced facilitators to run important, enquiry-based learning experiences.
Things at the Tech School are always changing. Every day is different. You might be assisting our STEAM Educators in learning experiences with students, preparing or packing up technology like drones and robots, troubleshooting software and technology or preparing resources for programs.

Student Requirements

The employer can accept a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 students at the same time.
Students need to have an enthusiasm for STEAM education, be ready to learn and be ready to dive right in!

Dress Requirements

Casual/Smart Casual attire with enclosed footwear for safety

Special Transport Requirements

There is a bus stop at the bottom of our hill for the 343 bus.
