Greenhills Neighbourhood House is a community center offering students real hands-on experience in Community Service, Hospitality and Events. Located in Greensborough, this friendly and inclusive workplace is looking for students to engage with their Food Relief program on Thursdays and Fridays, Greenroom projects, Clothes Swaps, Plant Swap or family friendly activities. Students from the LGBTQI+ are also welcomed to apply. As a little house that thinks big, they are committed to operate from sustainable resources and practices.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Assist with the administrative tasks in the office (answering phones, taking payments)

Assist with Community events such as the monthly community lunches

Assist with gardening projects in our Vegetable and Herb garden

Assist with the Greenroom program including packing food boxes for food relief and potentially making coffee.

Student Requirements

Best suited to a student who is interested in community connection.

Dress Requirements

Closed toe shoes, long hair tied back, to be discussed at interview.

Special Transport Requirements

Venue is close to bus access, and within walking distance to Greensborough train station.
