Aged care assistant
Leading private residential aged care provider. Provides an extensive range of care and support to aged care residents including residential, respite and specialised dementia care. Students will experience what it is like to work in the health industry, especially in an aged care enviroment.

Students should display a willingness to learn and an interest in aged care, allied health or community services.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Placements can be tailored to meet students' study, however, will include. - planning and co-ordination of activities - interaction with residents and encouraging them to participate in planned activities
Student Requirements
Arrive on time. Have a creative outlook, service oriented with a passion to help others. Communication and interpersonal skills
Dress Requirements
Students should be well presented and in neat casual. Closed in non-slip shoes must be worn.
