Horsham Rural City Council is providing opportunities for students to have a range of industry experiences during National Career Week.
Students in Year 9 will be exposed to a range of careers so that they can make more informed career plans.
Horsham Rural City Council Youth Engagement Officer Position will teach students about the range of youth programs and types of duties a youth worker is involved in.

Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will complete an introduction and induction into the role of HRCC and the range of careers available. Students will learn about the Youth Program Officer role and the range of tasks associated. Students will shadow a youth worker and participate in a range of entry level activities.
Student Requirements
Students to have 3 questions prepared about the careers in Horsham Rural City & youth work.
Students to BYO lunch and water for the day.
Students to be respectful and follow instructions.
Keep phone in bag on silent during the day.
Dress Requirements
Students to wear neat casual clothes, with closed toed shoes.
