Skills You Might Learn
Students will learn about workshop activities that meet safety quality requirements and learn how company boats are properly maintained and serviced. There's an opportunity to obtain knowledge about the handling of product technical enquiries and troubleshooting and problem solving.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will be supervised by the Workshop Manager and become familiar with the running and maintenance of the workshop facility and workflow of reworks, conversions, and special projects. Students will also gain knowledge in the areas of product service, warranty, performance, and installation of Mercury Marine products. Students will see workflow of conversions, reworks, miscellaneous engine repairs, boat rigging and special product developments & testing.
Student Requirements
You will have an interest in the marine industry and have strong willingness to work in this area. Interested students needs to be punctual, hardworking, able to listen and take direction, be capable of showing initiative and able get along with a range of people.
Dress Requirements
Comfortable work wear and closed toes shoes.

Regular bus services travel to Bessemer Drive, Dandenong South.
