Skills You Might Learn
Students will have the opportunity to build on their: communication skills, customer service skills, OH&S knowledge, team work, a variety of front and back of house skills along with food hygiene and kitchen operations knowledge while working in a busy environment. Students may also have the opportunity to learn how to make a good coffee, if learning how to be a Barista interests you.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will be involved in various facets of cafe operations both front and back of house with some basic food preparation such as sandwich making and preparing a variety of cold and hot drinks. To be successfully considered for this position a student must have a friendly attitude, keen interest in hospitality, have a neat appearance and work as part of a team
Student Requirements
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, punctual and enthusiastic, and of course a smile! Work hours are during cafe hours of 7.45am to 2.00pm.
Dress Requirements
Neat casual, dark clothing, with closed toe shoes

Close to public transport/ bus stop
