Skills You Might Learn
•Understanding all aspects of automotive equipment.
•Problem solving to determine work methods in accordance with standard automotive practices.
•Use and operation of automotive equipments.

Typical Tasks & Duties
You will observe the supervisor and the site, gaining insight into the typical tasks and duties of an automotive mechanic, including:
•Performing maintenance services.
•Draining oils.
•Removing wheels.
•Organizing the workshop and preparing tools for the day.
Student Requirements
•A strong interest in learning the automotive mechanics trade is required.
•You are expected to maintain a positive work attitude and show respect for your supervisor and team.
•Arrive on time for work and notify your supervisor (before your scheduled start time) if you will be late or unavailable due to illness.
•Take responsibility for your work and consistently strive to achieve the highest standards.
•Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
•Piercings and jewelry are not permitted.
Dress Requirements
Protective clothing, safety footwear, overalls, clean neat & tidy appearance, strictly no jewellery
Special Transport Requirements
• Take the train to Springvale Station, which is a 10-minute walk from the workplace.
