AGL Loy Yang asset consists of a 2,200 megawatt power station, together with an adjacent brown coal mine which is the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. The power station supplies approximately one third of Victoria's power requirements.

The Planning and Scheduling team at AGL Power Station plays a crucial role in ensuring that all plant activities are executed efficiently and safely. As a work experience student in this team, you will gain exposure to the daily operations of a power station, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities and projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a high school student interested in engineering, project management, or energy production to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic industry.

Skills You Might Learn
