The system runs reliably in automatic mode – charging the battery in the off peak tariff period overnight – using the battery and solar to supply 100% of the load from 7am to 10pm – and providing 24/7 seamless backup during grid outages. The Euston Club Resort have an exciting Work Experience Opportunity (WE Opportunity) as a Business Administration Assistant. The WE Opportunity is ideally suited to a Year 10 student or a VCE student.
Work placement Location: The Euston Club Resort, Nixon Street, Euston.

Typical Tasks & Duties
As a Business Administration Assistant, the student will observe and spend time under the direct supervision of experienced and qualified Business Administration staff. The student will be under direct supervision within the administration work environment.
The student may observe and assist with the following tasks and duties;
Administration;
- Contribution to health and safety of self and others
- Deliver customer service
- Work effectively in a business environment
- Process and maintain information
- Handle mail
- Communicate verbally and electronically
- Produce and alter simple documents
- Participate in sustainable work practices
As a Club Receptionist, the student may be involved in greeting club members, visitors and guests, directing inquiries, answer phone calls, membership subscription administration and other administration duties.
To be successfully considered for this position a student must have a keen interested in hospitality, neat appearance and work well as part of a team.
Student Requirements
Students with a positive attitude towards the Hospitality Industry as a Business Administration Assistant who are self-motivated, willing to listen and follow instruction are encouraged to consider a future WE placement to develop skills learned from their secondary school subjects relating to Business Administration.
Whilst the student is attending the work placement they are expected to:
• Students must be interested in the Hospitality Industry as a Food and Beverage Attendant Assistant and possess good communication skills.
• Students must be willing to spend periods of time observing and to undertake necessary tasks as requested.
• Dress appropriately.
• Maintain interest and participate in tasks and work duties.
• Be well mannered and behave in a respectful and responsible manner.
• Be punctual.
• Follow management instructions.
• Act in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements.
• Work within the team.
• Listen and take advice from fellow workers.
• Respect other people’s belongings.
• Keep a note pad and pen handy to take notes for their own reference.
Demonstrate the skills they have developed through their course.
• Take their Logbook to the work placement every day.
Dress Requirements
The student will be required to present in a neat and hygienic manner in the following work attire;
• Neat professional attire with full length work pants.
• Enclosed footwear, flat and non-slip.
• Long hair must be tied back, nails must be kept short and clean.
• Note: The Euston Club Resort uniform (shirt) will be supplied.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to the tasks and duties carried out by the student, will be supplied by the Host Employer.
Special Transport Requirements
Public Transport is limited, students to check bus transport availability and or speak to parents/carer to organise transport prior to contacting employer.
