Skills You Might Learn

Attain hands on practical experience in either the Toyota or Volkswagen workshops, observe and learn from highly qualified technicians, listen and follow instructions and learn how to maintain workshop equipment as part of a team.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Industry skills attained include: hands on practical experience, observing and learning from highly qualified technicians, working with tools and diagnostic systems, listening to instructions and be shown how to maintain workshop records.

Student Requirements

Student should have a passion for the automotive industry, be punctual and hardworking, and show a keen interest to learn by asking questions. Ideally be studying, or have completed, VDSS Automotive.

Dress Requirements

Workshop attire required - recommend steel capped boots, long pants and sleeves, no loose clothing or jewelry.

Special Transport Requirements

Student to find their own way to the workshop.
