The Gippsland Agricultural Group is a not for profit farmer organisation that runs trials on plant/livestock grazing to explore the adaptation capability for the Gippsland region. This is a research and learning organisation offering a great opportunity school students to learn.
Skills You Might Learn
Students will be introduced to a wide range of skills on placement involved with the day to day tasks of running the farm.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will experience a wide range of agricultural activities while on placement. Students will have the opportunity to participate in the day to day activities involved with the research program and getting basic farm tasks done - feeding, fencing, checking etc.
Student Requirements
Students must have a genuine desire to learn about the agricultural industry - no previous experience required or expected
Dress Requirements
Clean and tidy outdoor wear , sturdy boots and a hat
