Skills You Might Learn
Safe working practices in an automotive workplace, use and maintenance of tools and equipment, maintain measuring equipment and test and repair basic electrical circuits and batteries.
Teamwork, communication, working independently, following instructions and problem solving.
Typical Tasks & Duties
The student will assist in all aspects of the automotive industry. In particular, communicate effectively in the workplace, use and maintain tools and equipment, test and repairs, assisting with servicing and keeping workplace tidy.
Student Requirements
Students are expected to: dress appropriately, maintain interest and participate in work duties, be well mannered and behave in a respectful and responsible manner, be punctual, follow management instructions and observe all safety practices.
